to the street signs of new york, in an initiative designed to promote road safety.</p>
<p>144 signs covering 12 different designs have been placed in areas near cultural centers and schools,<br />
where a high percentage of accidents take place. in some locations, the signs feature only graphics,<br />
with the haikus embedded in a QR code. in others, signs are hung in pairs featuring both image and text.</p>
