Filip Dujardin did an excellent job in his current show at the ‘bozar‘ in Brussels with his interpretation of Belgian built environment. To me, Belgium is a place where engineering has been celebrated as the form-giving force in the design process. Things seem to function without a big emphasis on their look.
His collages and photo documentatios underline, there can be architecture without architects.
